My Eyes

👀 I ended up blinding myself permanently, because I couldn't believe that I've been blind to all the signs I encountered on my way to Thebes. If maybe I would have asked my parents about the scars on my legs, then maybe they would have told me about how I was abandoned and they adopted me. If i would have known this, I would have never believed the prophecy and never would have left Corinth. I blinded myself as soon as I found out that my wife/mother had killed herself due to the mess she was in. I stabbed myself in the eyes to blind myself. It was a fast reaction, it didn't hurt at the moment. I had blood dripping from my eyes, I obviously couldn't see this, but I was able to feel it.
